In the Words of Yuval Noah Harari, and I paraphrase: “The truth is expensive, it doesn’t just happen when you collect data. It’s like a precious jewel. We have to look in dark uncomfortable places,” I know many think we are striking it rich by even trying to uncover the truth, those people are simply misguided at best or trying to derail our efforts at worse.
My Aunt and I have invested a lot of time, effort and expense to getting at the truth, and frankly…I can’t go any further without the support of others.
The truth is, few documentary films and books ever make a profit. This is a labor of love, for the lives impacted by the loss of my Aunt Rosetta. We are open and transparent about where every penny goes. Those who aren’t willing to help will find every excuse in the world not to…but some will help where they can. Thankfully, to spite the crudeness of our age, there are many who still believe in Truth and Justice for all. Check back often as I am setting up a Patreon for montly supporters and will give behind the scenes details on our progress. I’ll be honest with you, most of my resistance comes from my own family, and I’ve had to part ways with most of them. My duty is to Rosetta, truth and justice. While I understand my family has emmense pain and trauma, the resistance I face isn’t from her siblings, it’s from other relatives who have their own personal issues with me, and for me telling the truth about a small but not insignificant connection to the prime suspect. Again, my duty is to Truth and Justice for Rosetta, the Aunt we lovingly called “Pie”.
